Since 1938, our fleet of trucks, trains and trailers has connected the Scandinavian container terminals with inland destinations and origins for overseas cargo. With precision. With flexibility. And with accountability.
Now, more than ever, the world needs us all to reflect – and to think ahead.
At Dania Connect, we therefore navigate according to nine sustainable values and goals.
We call this “The nine key concerns”.
These concerns are about reducing the carbon footprint via electrification and optimization.
They are about safety, well-being, and the best possible working conditions for all our drivers.
And they are about decency and developing responsible solutions in long-term relationships with customers, suppliers, and employees.
Because at Dania Connect, we don’t just move shipping containers.
We also want to move the standards of accountability in the transport industry.
We drive in the lead. All the way.
Dania Connect
Moving goods. With care.
The owners of Dania Connect
Group CEO Frank Hjortekær-Jensen (photo) owns 50,1% of the parent company behind Dania Group, while the remaining 49,9% is owned by the Danish private equity fund Blue Equity. In 2012, Frank took over the ownership of Dania Connect A/S (then Dania Trucking A/S) from the A.P. Møller – Mærsk Group in a management buyout, while Blue Equity bought into the company in 2022. In addition, the entire management and the majority of the employees have an ownership stake in Dania Group.
Frank has extensive experience from the transport industry, just as a management education from the years under the light blue star still shines through in several aspects of the operation. Not least when it comes to qualities such as due diligence, consideration and business ethics.
